Ability Awareness is a wonderful program that SELPA 1 CAC brings to classrooms to bring awareness about the “rainbow of abilities” to students and teachers. Through stories, readings, and interactive hands-on activities Ability Awareness volunteers build an environment where students understand more about the challenges they and their friends may encounter, and learn empathy and acceptance of our differences in ability.
This program comes to Monta Loma the week of 2/4 and we need YOUR HELP to make it happen.
